———BIOGRAPHY: Frederick Hatfield Clark — painter of portraits, landscapes, Paris scenes, rivers, and boats — was born in Trenton, NJ in 1862 and died in Vineyard Haven, MA in 1947. He lived and worked in New York City and Trenton.
Clark studied at the Art Students League in New York City and, in 1894, at the Académie Julian in Paris with Jean Paul Laurens (1838-1921).
